Film and television actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal has passed away due to COVID. He was 52. A retired army officer, Kanwarpal had played supporting roles in many films and television serials. Bikramjeet had starred in films such as Corporate, Page 3, Aarakshan, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, The Ghazi Attack, Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, Murder 2, 2 States among others.
Kanwarpal was born in Solan Himachal Pradesh. He was the son of an Indian Army officer, Dwarka Nath Kanwarpal, who was awarded the Kirti Chakra in 1963. In 1986 Bikramjeet Kanwarpal completed his Higher Secondary Examination from The Lawrence School, Sanawar and in 1989 he commissioned into the Indian Army. He retired from the army in 2002 as a Major. In 2003, he debuted in Bollywood to fulfill his childhood dream of being an actor and had acted since then in many films
On television, he played prominent roles in shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Dil Hi Toh Hai and Anil Kapoor’s 24.He was last seen in Disney Plus Hotstar’s popular web series Special Ops.
